Patrick Meschenmoser

As the IAEA's Crisis Communication Adviser, Patrick is the dedicated spokesperson during a radiation incident or emergency and in charge of maintaining and implementing procedures regarding the IAEA's public communications efforts during such an event.

Patrick has over a decade of experience with crisis communication on an international level. For many years he worked as spokesperson for one of the world's largest aviation groups and as its Responsible Manager Crisis Communications and Chief Press Officer. As Director of Media Relations he was responsible for global external communications for one of the largest pharmaceutical companies specialised in generics.

Patrick holds a Master's degree in International Politics and History.
